Hot Stab and Connector Tooling
Making the connection, and recovering it.
Hot Stabs, generic or bespoke
Hydraulic hot stabs held in generic and bespoke configurations, for delivering ROV hydraulic power and fluid into subsea equipment. Where a receptacle is non-standard, or a tool was never designed to be driven by an ROV, the stab is made to suit it.
- Generic
- 2-port and 4-port hot stab kits
- Bespoke
- Stabs and receptacles made to suit the interface
- Records
- Every unit hires with its drawings, certification and test records
ZeroStab, leak-free and high-flow
ZeroStab is a subsea hydraulic connector that uses laser-sintered metal additive manufacturing to break a design ceiling the offshore industry has lived with for decades.
ZeroStab has been announced as a finalist for the 2026 Western Australia’s Innovators of the Year in the Advanced Manufacturing Award, sponsored by Adarsh Australia.

Tronic and Hot Stab Extraction Tool, for connectors an ROV cannot separate
The Tronic and Hot Stab Extraction Tool provides a positive means of extracting both hydraulic hot stab and Tronic electrical connectors that cannot be separated using an ROV manipulator.
The hydraulically actuated extraction mechanism provides an easy and controlled method of applying incremental extraction loads. It is capable of supplying sufficient extraction force to overcome known causes of binding with additional capacity as a contingency.
- Operated by a 7-function manipulator.
- Independent hydraulic functions to engage and extract a hot stab or Tronic.
- Interfaces with both plugs and receptacles.
- Firm engagement with the flying connector to facilitate relocation after extraction.
- Two handle configurations for different installation approaches.
- Extraction force is not transmitted through the handle, but through the main body.
- Extraction force
- 700 kg (approx.)
- ROV interface
- ISO 13628-8
- Depth rating
- 1,000 msw
- Weight
- 27.5 kg in air, 24 kg in water (approx.)
- Dimensions
- 401 × 251 × 705 mm (L × W × H)
